20 January 2025, Bangkok, Thailand - Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC), under Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group, has collaborated with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and a network of partners to organize “CBD We Run 2025.” This much-anticipated charity run, part of the “GIVE GREEN CBD” project, is now in its 11^th year and continues to inspire runners and environmental advocates. This year’s “Happy Run for a Sustainable City,” theme focuses on promoting a greener Bangkok and a zero-waste event. The run also supports environmental initiatives by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, with part of the proceeds donated to the “Pun Rak” environmental project under the AWFC Foundation. “CBD We Run 2025” was officially inaugurated by Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, who was joined by more than 70 partners and 2,400 participants who started their run at The Empire.

The “CBD We Run 2025” is a city-center half marathon charity run designed to contribute to the environment, communities, and society. The event features 3 race categories including “Fun Run” (4.2 kilometers), “Mini Marathon” (10.5 kilometers) and “Half Marathon” (21 kilometers). Runners enjoy a unique route through key economic hubs in the heart of the city, with highlights including: The Empire, AWC’s flagship lifestyle office complex, the Chong Nonsi Canal Park, Sathorn Road, a scenic stretch crossing the Chao Phraya River with a stunning sunrise view near the Taksin Bridge, with a turnaround point at the King Taksin the Great Monument (Wongwian Yai Roundabout).

The “CBD We Run 2025” is part of the “GIVE GREEN CBD” initiative, which drives sustainability through activities like AWC's Charity Market Around, a charity market, A Charity Christmas Tree, a festive giving event, and the city-center charity half marathon itself. “CBD We Run 2025” aims to unite Thais in giving back to society, promoting environmental conservation, and addressing climate challenges. Emphasizing the Circular Economy, the event integrates sustainable practices by recycling e-waste from discarded electronics to craft medals, producing running shirts from recycled PET fibers, and encouraging participants to use portable silicone water bottles to minimize waste. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and creating meaningful, long-term benefits for the community and the environment.
