AWC Sets New Record with 47 Wins at BSA Building Safety Awards 2024, Achieving Diamond and FM Diamond Awards for the First Time, Supporting Building Management Excellence in Thailand

27 November 2024, Bangkok, Thailand - Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group, has achieved a historic milestone at the BSA Building Safety Awards 2024, earning a record-breaking 47 awards. Organized by the Building Inspectors Association, AWC received the highest distinction, the Diamond Award in the hotel category for Le Méridien Bangkok, marking the first time the company has secured this top honor. AWC also secured Platinum Awards across all business units, including Interlink Tower Bangna and The Empire for the office category, Gateway at Bangsue for the retail category, and Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse in the hotel category. AWC also received the prestigious FM Diamond Award from the Thailand Facility Management Association (TFMA) for Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, as well as two Bronze Awards from the GENTHAI AWARDS 2024 for excellence in generator installation and maintenance.

AWC’s achievement of 47 awards at the BSA Building Safety Awards 2024 is divided into three categories:

  • Building Safety Awards (BSA Building Safety Awards 2024) from the Building Inspectors Association: 22 awards, including 1 Diamond Award, 4 Platinum Awards, 7 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards, and 4 Bronze Awards
  • Sustainable Building Management Awards from the Thailand Facility Management Association (TFMA): 23 awards, including 1 FM Diamond Award, 2 FM Gold Awards, 3 FM Silver Awards, 17 COA Certifications
  • GENTHAI AWARDS 2024 from the Thai Generator Association: Bronze Awards.

Meanwhile, the Sustainable Building Management Awards are special honors now in their fourth year. This year, 34 buildings were recognized by the Thailand Facility Management Association (TFMA), which aims to encourage sustainable building development and management in line with international standards. The evaluation focuses on risk management policies, the adoption of innovative technologies in resource management, and activities that foster user engagement to enhance sustainable practices within buildings.
