The ALL-DAY signature delights including Prawn Har Gao, Crispy Pastry with Shrimp and Prosciutto Ham, Pan Fried Sesame Foie Gras, and Braised Whole South African Abalone with E-fu Noodles. The Tea House offers a diverse selection of premium teas from regions with historical trading connections. The collection includes Silk Dark Tea and Thida Green Tea from organic farms in Chiang Dao, Thailand, Bai Mu Dan White Tea from China, Sencha Green Tea from Japan, Darjeeling First Flush Dark Tea from India, Rooibos Tisane from South Africa, and more. For those with a sweet tooth, Pumpkin Cream and Gingko Nuts provide a perfect end. As night falls, the beverage menu features playful mocktails, a handpicked selection of whiskies, and tea-related gin. Three signature cocktails inspired by green, white, and black Chinese tea varieties, offer a sophisticated end to the day against the breathtaking river view.
Each room at ‘Asiatique Ancient Tea House’ is like a living museum for tea lovers to discover the journey and art of tea. It portrays the 3 stories of “Tea Discovery and Tea Culture”, starting with 1. Hint of Heaven, a glasshouse surrounded by greenery; 2. 1890’s Blend Gallery, showcasing a fine selection of teas, 3. The Blooming on second floor, representing the flourishing era of tea culture. The colonial characteristics of the original historic building have been kept and accentuated such as Horseshoe Arch. The decorative wallpaper print is also inspired by the famous Porcelain Pattern such as a teacup with lettuce and Kinnaree patterns, while in each corner there will be an installation art with tea and a porcelain collection. The primary colors are black, red, and gold, symbolizing the allure of history and the classical essence of ancient tea.
“Asiatique Ancient Tea House, far more than a mere venue, becomes a living manifestation that embodies tradition and craftsmanship - a testament to exchanges and connections that extend beyond boundaries. It is situated near ‘The Crystal Grill House,’ which functions like a welcoming lounge for merchants arriving in Siam at this pier, and ‘Srimahannop,’ a historic ship that brought prosperity from all countries around the world to Siam. It complements “The Siam Tea Room,” a riverside Thai restaurant, all within Asiatique The Riverfront Destination. Together, they elevate Thailand's culinary prestige and bring people to enrich the river journey experience, seamlessly connecting tourism, hospitality, and travel along Thailand's Chao Praya River. AWC believes in unique sustainable value that Thailand could inspire the world’s travelers, especially at this special location,” Mrs. Wallapa concluded.
