Mrs. Wallapa Traisorat, CEO and President of Asset World Corp Public Company Limited or AWC, the founder of the Asset World Foundation for Charity, revealed that the Covid-19 pandemic which has spread throughout the country has continued to increase the number of infected people. The corporation is committed to helping Thai people get through the Covid-19 pandemic by collaborating with government agencies and leading partners to establish a community isolation center at the AEC Trade Center (Pratunam Pra-in) at Pra-Inta Racha Subdistrict Municipality, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province to provide 200 beds to patients in the green group under the “AWC Together for Thais” campaign.

“AWC immediately accepted the invitation from Pra-Inta Racha Subdistrict Municipality to convert the site into a community isolation center to accommodate patients in the green group. Moreover, the corporation has received cooperation from alliances, leading agencies and the wider public to provide essential items such as cardboard beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, fans, desks and chairs as well as necessary items, drinking water, and medical supplies to patients. The establishment of the community isolation center is a solution to address the hospital bed shortages and reduce the risk of infection in families and communities as well as coordinate to transfer patients to hospitals or field hospitals”, said Mrs. Wallapa.

Mrs. Wallapa added that the serious pandemic which has widely affected people throughout the country requires not only strict measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, but also spiritual support and positive energy which are important. The corporation and Foundation are determined to help the society and community in a sustainable and impactful way by contributing to help alleviate the burden of Thai people.
