Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park rises to the top of hospitality industry with one gold, nine silver and five bronze medals from Thaifex 2019
Bangkok, Thailand, June 13, 2019 – The culinary team department of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park once again brought pride and joy to the property. Talented chefs from the kitchen recently participated in several culinary competitions at THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019, the region’s largest food and beverage expo, and won a gold medal with trophy, nine silver medals, and five bronze medals.
Mr. Simon Bell, General Manager of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, said that, “Once again, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park participated in THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019. This time we sent our creative Chefs from various culinary sections to enter the competitions at the Expo. To our delight, they brought us several accolades that included one gold, nine silver and five bronze medals, along with various other prizes. We are so proud of the fact our Chefs have been recognized for their hard work and creativity. These achievements encourages our Chefs to always perform better and reach new height for the benefits of our customers. Congratulations to all the winners”.
For THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park won a gold medal with trophy from Wilawan Chanasuek, Banquet Chef de Partie, who wowed the judges with her creation of beef entree. The other nine silver medals are from Vannapa Visutthisin, Commis I – Commissary (Belgian Fries Back to Basic Dip and Topping Challenge – Junior Chefs), Anon Atchariyaphak, Banquet Demi Chef de Partie (Main Course Pork and Chicken Challenge – Professional Chef), Wachara Pilasri, Commis I Banquet (Canadian Frozen Lobster Culinary Challenge – Professional Chef), Commis team from Commissary and Bakery/Pastry including Supas Khwanmoung, Maliwan Songsroemkhwamdee and Nuanprang Jeamjaroenchai (Set Menu for Cruise) and Commis team from Banquet who are Siwaphat Seesith, Suchada Kaewkhong and Jakrapong Jongpatnitchapun (Thai Set Menu).
Other prizes include five bronze medals from Thanakorn Pumusa, Pailin Puttamee, Natthasit Jaruhirunsakul, Nuntuchaporn Chutchawong and Omrak Pibalsing and certificates from Apichart sawangsri, Champ Thongkong, Sawat Raiyai and Narisara Sae phua, all of which are pride of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, the leader of food and beverage in Bangkok and Thailand.
