AWC has a policy to pay dividends at the rate of no less than 40% of our consolidated net profits from ordinary business after deducting corporate income tax and any reserve funds as required by law and as determined by us, provided that the dividend payment shall not exceed our separate retained earnings. The payment of dividends and dividend rates are subject to change, depending on our financial conditions, results of operations, cash flow, working capital, future investment plans and business expansion, as well as market conditions, legal requirements, debt obligations, conditions or restrictions imposed by financing agreements and other factors as deemed suitable and appropriate by the Board of Directors.

In addition to operating in accordance with sustainability principles, we have established corporate sustainability strategy, which acts as a guidance for business conduct. The strategy includes Better Planet, Better People, and Better Prosperity.
AWC has a policy to have our new flagship development projects including The Asiatique District and The Aquatique District to receive internatonal green building certifications; for example, LEED, WELL, and EDGE standards. For existing projects, AWC is keen to renovate and apply for green building certifications as well.
To achieve our target of carbon neutrality, it is necessary to implement numerous projects to maintain energy usage efficiecy throughout the organization. The examples of some implementation plans can be classified into 3 groups as below:
The operation management program includes increasing the temperature of a water chiller by 1 degree Fahrenheit, turning off the cool air blower/air conditioner in the hall at night, and managing the lights.
The short-term program includes changing more light bulbs to LED and adjusting the dimming time in the building.
The long-term program includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system optimization.
